You are Rich
When you can do it for yourself

Doing things for yourself brings its own reward.

T here is the law of charity where you do unto others as you would they do unto you. And you do it first.

Or: to each according to need; from each according to ability. But how nice is it when you do something for yourself?

Sometimes, without quite knowing how, we allow other people to take control of our lives in so many small ways that we become creatures of other people’s habits.

It’s nice sometimes then to turn left when the expectation is that you will turn right.

While people wonder if you have taken leave of your senses, you follow your own path.

Head for the beach, kick off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes. You are rich when you do it for yourself.
